Razer BlackShark V2 Pro Wireless PS5 Headset — Half Price, 70-Hour Battery & Broadcast-Grade Mic! $144.67 CAD (52% Off)

Amazon.ca has the Razer BlackShark V2 Pro wireless gaming headset (PlayStation version, black) at $144.67 CAD, down from $304.49 — 52% off. Prime members ship free.

Inside are TriForce Titanium 50mm drivers: titanium-coated diaphragms split into three parts so highs, mids and lows are tuned separately, which keeps voices and footsteps from smearing together. The HyperClear Super Wideband mic is detachable and covers a much wider frequency range than a typical headset mic — the practical result is teammates hearing the difference, something a user coming from an Astro A50 called out specifically.

Wireless runs over a dedicated 2.4GHz dongle with latency low enough for competitive play. On-headset FPS audio profiles tuned with pro players give you more positional information than the default EQ — worth switching to for shooters. The closed earcups use memory foam and seal by conforming rather than clamping, so glasses wearers don't get pressure at the temples.

Battery is rated 70 hours on PC and about 48 on PS5; in practice that's a couple of charges a month. USB-C charging means a short top-up covers an evening. It's light enough that one reviewer described it as feeling like part of their head.

The PlayStation version has a real advantage: EQ is handled through a phone app, so no Razer Synapse and no Windows required, and settings save to the headset itself. It also works on Linux. If you're on PS5, turn on 3D audio — it's the feature that justifies the headset most.

Caveats: the software can be finicky on first pairing, and a few buyers reported dongles that wouldn't connect and had to be returned, so test it in the first week. This is also the PlayStation colourway; it works fine on PC, it just isn't the Xbox-licensed variant.

At $144.67 against a $304 list price, this is half off — it doesn't drop much below this often.
