It's an empty bottle you fill yourself from a bulk can of WD-40. The point is the bottle: generic all-purpose sprayers have gaskets that swell and give out once they meet WD-40's solvents, and the bottle starts leaking within a few uses. This one is built to survive it — 600ml capacity, with a nozzle that twists from a wide fan to a focused stream.

The garage math is simple. Pour from a 4L jug and you pay a fraction of aerosol prices per millilitre, without binning a steel can every time. Door hinges, bike chains, mower linkages, rusted bolts — a pump bottle lets you aim at the part instead of hosing the whole area.

Two honest notes: it's a single empty bottle, and $27 is real money for a sprayer. Whether that's worth it depends on how much WD-40 you go through — twice a year, stick with aerosol cans. And a few buyers found the plastic brittle enough to crack if dropped or over-tightened.

One reviewer replaced a different brand's sprayer after its gaskets dissolved, filled this one with WD-40 and ran it for six months with no leaks. If you buy WD-40 by the jug and decant it, this is one of the few things actually designed for that.
