Sonos Ace Wireless ANC Headphones — Dolby Atmos Spatial Audio, 30h Battery! $329 CAD (40% Off)

Amazon.ca currently has the Sonos Ace wireless over-ear noise-cancelling headphones (Black) for $329 CAD (list $549, 40% off). Prime members ship free; non-Prime orders over $35 ship free.

Sonos's first headphones, built to add "personal listening" to a home Sonos setup. Three things stand out.

Spatial audio with dynamic head tracking and Dolby Atmos makes movie sound follow your head, close to a home-theatre feel, with lossless streaming over Bluetooth or USB-C. TV Audio Swap lets you push TV sound from a Sonos Arc Ultra, Arc, Beam or Ray soundbar to the headphones with one tap, so late-night games and shows don't wake the house. Noise cancelling is mainstream-good, silencing AC hum and subway rumble, with an Aware mode when you want to hear around you.

Battery is rated at 30 hours with ANC on, and a 3-minute charge gives 3 hours for a last-minute top-up. At 313 g with memory-foam and vegan-leather earcups, comfort over long sessions is among the better ones in its class. A single side slider controls volume, play and calls.

One caveat: it's Sonos's first-generation headphone, tightly tied to its ecosystem — that's both its biggest strength and its biggest limit. With Sonos speakers at home it's worth most; without them it still works as a regular ANC headphone, just minus that bonus.

The $549 list price is high; $329 is close to 40% off and a rare good price for these.
