LEGO Minecraft Zombie Dungeon 21587 — 284 Pieces, 5 Minifigures, Spawning Chamber! $27.97 CAD (30% Off)

Amazon.ca has the LEGO Minecraft Zombie Dungeon (21587) for $27.97 CAD (list $39.99, 30% off). Free shipping for Prime members, otherwise free on orders over $35.

284 pieces and five figures: the Wastelands Wanderer, a slime and three zombies — one with enchanted leggings and a gold sword, one with a diamond helmet. It's set in the Minecraft desert biome, and the two play features are the reason to pick this set over a shelf model: a rotating chamber that spawns zombies, and a sliding piece that drops a rockfall.

Accessories are generous — netherite armor, a mace, diamond pickaxe, gold sword, diamond helmet, crafting table, torch, and a chest holding bread, bone and rotten flesh. Any kid who has played the game will recognise every piece.

Built, it stands 21 cm tall, 12 cm wide and 14 cm deep, so it fits on a shelf or a bedside table. Ages 8 and up; 284 pieces is roughly an hour or two for a practiced builder, and the LEGO Builder app has 3D rotate-and-zoom steps so a parent doesn't have to read instructions aloud.

Rated 4.8 stars across 600+ reviews, ranked #15 in Toy Building Sets, and over a thousand sets sold last month. At $27.97 against $39.99 it's near the low end for a mid-size set like this — fine to buy now and hold for a birthday.
