Available now on Amazon.ca: Purina Tidy Cats Lightweight clumping cat litter, 17 lb box, priced at $37.13 CAD (list price $71.57 CAD — 48% off). Prime members ship free; non-Prime orders over $35 CAD ship free.

It covers the two things multi-cat homes fight most: odor and dust. It's rated for 21-day ammonia odor control (when used as directed), comes in a Clean Linen scent, and uses a slow-release deodorizing system that holds up across multiple litter boxes. It's 99.9% dust free, so pouring and scooping won't kick up a cloud — a real plus if anyone in the house has a sensitive respiratory system.

The headline feature is the weight: it's 50% lighter than the leading clumping litter, with no reduction in litter volume. A 17 lb box is genuinely easier to carry, especially up stairs. It clumps tight and holds together when you scoop, so cleanup is quick.

At $71.57 list it was pricey; at $37.13 it's roughly half off, and a name-brand lightweight litter at this price isn't common. If you have several cats, buying by the box saves more — just remember it gets used up fast, so don't overstock purely because it feels light.
