Ninja ProChef Wireless Meat Thermometer — 700°F Rated, 165 ft Range! $79.96 CAD (38% Off)

Amazon.ca has the Ninja ProChef wireless meat thermometer (WP100C, Canadian version) for $79.96 CAD, down from $129.99 — 38% off. Prime members ship free; otherwise orders over $35 CAD qualify for free delivery.

The entire point of a wireless probe is that you stop babysitting the grill. Leave it in the meat, watch your phone indoors, and get live readings out to 165 ft (50 m) — whole chickens, slow-smoked brisket, flipping mid-air-fry, no opening the lid. It's rated to 700°F, so direct flame, searing and cast-iron work are fine, and the stainless probe can be washed without fuss. Battery is rated at 30 hours on a single AAA.

How you use it differs from an old dial thermometer: you set a target temperature in the Ninja ProConnect app and it pushes an alert when you hit it. Without a target set, you're just watching a number. Paired with a Ninja oven or air fryer, Companion Mode adds cooking-method suggestions and more accurate finish-time estimates.

Now the honest part: this sits at 3.9 stars, and the deductions are almost all about the app. Bluetooth drops occasionally, the cooking notification can't be dismissed (some people resort to rebooting their phone), and having the app open interrupts Bluetooth audio. If all you want is "stick it in, read the temperature," a $30 mechanical probe is simpler and needs no app at all.

But if your use case is genuinely "I'm in the living room, the meat is on the back deck" — standing outside at minus fifteen is nobody's idea of a good time, and cooking sides while the main event runs is the whole point — then $79.96 is cheap for a wireless unit, and Ninja is a brand with service behind it. Buy it for the range, not for the software.
