Marshall High Back Litter Pan — High Walls That Actually Catch It, Doubles as a Hay Bin! $33.12 CAD

Amazon.ca has the Marshall High Back Litter Pan for $33.12 CAD (list $35.97, 8% off). Prime members get free shipping; otherwise orders over $35 CAD ship free.

The design is simple and it works: a 2-inch front lip for easy entry, with 7-inch walls at the back and both corners. Ferrets back into a corner to go, and a flat pan just doesn't catch it — the high back does. It measures 35.6 x 30.5 x 17.8 cm and is molded in one piece from hard plastic.

What's interesting is that the reviews are full of rabbit and guinea pig owners using it as a hay bin rather than ferret owners: the high walls keep hay from being kicked across the floor, and there's still room for a rabbit to dig around and turn. The downside is honest too — it's big, won't fit inside a small cage, so plan on a pen or a fixed spot outside it.

4.3 stars from 1,400+ ratings, ranked #78 in Small Animal Bedding & Litter. This kind of item rarely goes on sale, and $33 is about as low as it gets — worth grabbing if you need a pan that doesn't spill.
