Worth Buying: LG Ultrafine 32UN650K-W 32" 4K UHD IPS Monitor — 95% DCI-P3 and HDR10 for Work and Photo Editing

Amazon.ca has the LG Ultrafine 32UN650K-W 32-inch 4K monitor for $499.99 CAD, which is also its list price — this one isn't discounted, it's just priced where it belongs. Free shipping for Prime members; otherwise free on orders over $35.

32 inches, 3840x2160, IPS panel, 178-degree viewing angles. The selling point here is color: 95% DCI-P3 coverage, which means photo retouching, video editing, and layout work are workable out of the box without renting a calibrator. Brightness is 350 nits — fine indoors, but don't expect it to hold up next to a bright window.

60Hz refresh, 5ms response, FreeSync support. You can game on it, but it isn't an esports panel; if you want high refresh, look elsewhere. If your day is code, documents, and photo editing, 60Hz plus 4K is the better trade at this price.

Three-side narrow bezels, matte screen finish, so no reflection of your own face by the window. The stand gives you two height positions plus tilt, and it's VESA mountable. Built-in stereo speakers mean one HDMI cable gets you sound and saves desk space. Ports: one HDMI, DisplayPort, headphone jack.

4.4 stars across 81 reviews, ranked 79th in Computer Monitors. It weighs 8.2 kg and carries a one-year manufacturer warranty. $500 for a 32-inch 4K panel with 95% DCI-P3 is a fair price for the spec — not a steal, but not a bad call either.
