GE 7.2 Cu. Ft. Electric Dryer — Moisture Sensing with 7 Drying Cycles! $749.99 CAD (44% Off)

Best Buy is currently offering the GE 7.2 cu. ft. electric dryer (GTD49EBMRDG, Diamond Grey) for $749.99 CAD, down from $1,349.99 — 44% off. Orders over $35 ship free.

A 7.2 cu. ft. drum handles a family's sheets, towels and a full week of clothes in one load instead of two. This is a vented electric dryer that connects to a standard dryer outlet, so confirm your venting setup before delivery.

The feature that actually matters day to day is Sensor Dry: the dryer reads moisture levels and adjusts drying time accordingly rather than running a fixed timer. Clothes don't get over-dried, synthetics pick up less static, and cottons are less likely to shrink.

Seven cycles cover the everyday cases — Cottons, Casuals, Quick Fluff, Auto Dry and Time Dry — with four temperature settings so light shirts and heavy towels get different heat. A Sanitize option removes 99.9% of bacteria, which is more useful for households with kids or dust-mite sensitivities than paying extra for a steam model.

It measures 27.09 inches wide (68.8 cm), 43.31 inches high (110 cm) and 29.53 inches deep (75 cm) at 45.16 kg, so it pairs with most 27-inch washers. The glass-panel door has a reversible hinge — a small detail that saves real headaches in a narrow laundry room or where the machine can only open one way. There's an interior drum light for digging out dark socks at night, a removable lint filter, and an aluminized steel drum built for long-term wear.

It carries 1,872 reviews on Best Buy at 4.5 stars, one of the more heavily reviewed options in this price band. At $749.99 instead of $1,349.99 — $600 off — the sale runs until October 30.
