Brother MFC-J1260W Wireless Colour All-in-One Printer — Print, Copy, Scan! $59.99 CAD (57% Off)

Amazon.ca currently has the Brother Work Smart MFC-J1260W wireless colour inkjet all-in-one printer for $59.99 CAD (list $139.99 CAD, 57% off). Prime members get free shipping; non-Prime orders ship free over $35 CAD.

A compact home all-in-one that prints, copies, and scans, with a flatbed scanner on top so you don't have to flip a lid to feed paper. It measures 39 x 34 x 15 cm, small enough for a desk or shelf. The 150-sheet tray and speeds of 16 ppm black / 9 ppm colour keep up with homework and everyday documents.

It prints wirelessly over Wi-Fi from phone, tablet, or computer, and the Brother Mobile Connect app lets you run it straight from your phone and check ink with Page Gauge so you know before you run dry. It uses LC501-series cartridges and ships with starter cartridges.

One caveat: reviews are mixed at 3.9 stars over 186 ratings, and the main complaint is the long-term cost of genuine ink cartridges — consumables are where this class of inkjet really costs money, so go in with eyes open. If you print only occasionally and want a cheap colour all-in-one, 57% off makes it about $80 cheaper than usual and worth it. If you print a lot, price out the ink first.
