STAEDTLER Mars Lumograph Sketching Set — 6 Pencils + Eraser + Sharpener, 63% Off! $13.99 CAD

Amazon.ca has the STAEDTLER Mars Lumograph sketching set — six pencils, a Mini Mars Plastic eraser and a metal sharpener — for $13.99 CAD (list price $37.99, 63% off). Prime members ship free; otherwise orders over $35 ship free.

There's also a $2.32 coupon on the page. Clip it and you're at $11.67, which is roughly what two or three loose Mars Lumograph pencils cost on their own.

The six grades run 6B, 4B, 2B, B, HB and 2H: the soft end for deep shadow, HB and 2H for clean lines and fine detail. For portraits, landscapes and everyday sketching that spread is enough — you don't need to start with a 12-pencil tin. The lead uses STAEDTLER's own formulation with super-bonded cores, so it resists snapping while you sharpen, which is the thing that separates these from bargain pencils.

The mini eraser lifts graphite without chewing the paper, and the metal sharpener takes a fine enough point for detail work. Everything comes in a compact case that drops into a backpack for class, studio or sketching outdoors.

Ranked #5 in Woodcase Lead Pencils, 4.7 stars across 528 reviews, 300+ bought last month. A solid starting kit for art students and adults getting back into drawing — and it gifts well.
