SHOKZ OpenRun Pro 2 Bone Conduction Sport Headphones — Your Music, Plus the Traffic Behind You! $249.95 CAD

Amazon.ca has the SHOKZ OpenRun Pro 2 in black for $249.95 CAD. This line rarely goes on sale — it's a buy-when-you-need-it product, not a wait-for-a-drop one. Prime members ship free; otherwise free shipping over $35.

The point of bone conduction isn't sound quality, it's safety. Your ear canal stays open, audio travels through the cheekbone, and you still hear cars, your running partner, bike bells. On narrow winter roads or through summer construction, that matters more than bass extension.

The Pro 2's big change is a dual-driver setup: bone conduction handles mid and high clarity while an added air-conduction driver fills in low end. Earlier bone conduction units were mocked as "just a sound"; this generation at least gives you kick drums. It's also leak-controlled — at a volume that works for you, people standing next to you won't hear it.

30 g total, Ni-Ti memory-alloy frame, unibody ear hooks that don't fight with glasses. IP55 puts up with sweat and light rain. 12 hours of battery covers a marathon training week on one or two charges. Bluetooth 5.3 with multipoint memory. Calls use dual wind-resistant mics plus AI noise reduction — SHOKZ claims 96.5% of background noise filtered, including wind up to 15 mph.

Two caveats. No active noise cancellation — that's the cost of an open design, so don't buy this for quiet listening on the subway. And measure your head: run a tape from behind your left ear around to your right ear; 9.25 inches or more means standard, under that means the mini, and the wrong size sits loose.

4.4 stars from 13,175 reviews, ranked 9th in open-ear headphones, 1,000+ bought last month. Two-year warranty.
