TCL 65" F7D QLED Fire TV — 4K Dolby Vision & Atmos at 65 Inches! $549.99 CAD (21% Off)

Amazon.ca currently has the TCL 65" F7D Series 4K QLED Smart TV (65F7D, 2026 model) for $549.99 CAD (list $699.99, 21% off). Prime members ship free; otherwise orders over $35 CAD ship free.

A 65-inch set used to start around seven or eight hundred. At $550 this sits right at the typical budget point for a living-room upgrade.

The panel is QLED with a High Brightness+ backlight; 4K is four times the resolution of 1080p, and TCL's AIPQ processor uses deep-learning algorithms to tune contrast and clarity on its own. HDR covers Dolby Vision and HDR10+ with DTS, audio supports Dolby Atmos, and with matching content you can tell. It runs Fire TV natively with an Alexa voice remote, which beats arrow-key typing when you're searching, and there are three HDMI ports — console, soundbar, cable box, done.

Two honest caveats. First, sound: the built-in speakers are fine, but movies and games clearly lack low end, and reviewers keep mentioning a soundbar — budget for one. Second, black levels: they aren't deep, and you can occasionally see colour banding in dark scenes. Refresh is 60Hz; Motion Rate 240 and Game Accelerator 120 are interpolation and a game mode, so a PS5 on single-player titles is fine, competitive shooters are not its strength.

At 12.2 kg it's manageable for two people, and the VESA pattern is 400×400 or 600×400. 3.8 stars means it isn't a blind recommendation — but $550 for a 65" QLED with Fire TV built in is a defensible price.
