Logitech MX Master 3S — 8,000 DPI That Tracks on Glass, 90% Quieter Clicks! $99.99 CAD (29% Off)

Best Buy currently has the Logitech MX Master 3S wireless mouse in black for $99.99 CAD, down from $139.99 — 29% off. Orders over $35 ship free.

The useful part is the 8,000 DPI Darkfield sensor. Most mice drift on a glass desk; this one tracks on glass down to 4 mm thick, so your desk surface stops being a constraint. All seven buttons, including the scroll wheel, are programmable in Logi Options+, and profiles can be assigned per application — horizontal scroll in Excel, brush size in an editor — switching automatically as you change windows.

MagSpeed electromagnetic scrolling is the Logitech signature: the company rates it 90% faster and 87% more precise than a standard wheel, and it's close to silent. The left and right clicks use quiet switches rated at 90% less sound power than the MX Master 3, measured at one metre — relevant if you work late or sit in an open office.

The shape is right-handed ergonomic, with the palm rest and thumb controls placed for a natural wrist position; at 140 g it's on the heavy side, which buys stability. Dual Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz, up to three devices at once, compatible with Windows, macOS, Chrome OS, Linux, iPadOS and Android. FLOW moves text, images and files between computers without a USB stick or a chat app. The battery is rechargeable, with an indicator on the body.

Two caveats: no Logi Bolt USB receiver in the box, and it isn't compatible with other Logitech USB receivers — a desktop without Bluetooth needs one bought separately. And it's right-handed only.

It holds 411 reviews on Best Buy averaging 4.8 out of 5.
