Zinus Aidan Sling Accent Chair — Shredded Foam That Moulds to You (and It's Bigger Than It Looks)! $120 CAD (22% Off)

Amazon.ca has the Zinus Aidan sling accent chair in black for $120 CAD (list $152.97, 22% off). Prime members ship free; otherwise free shipping over $35.

First thing to know: it is bigger in person than in the photos. Across 900-plus reviews the two most repeated lines are "bigger than expected" and "more comfortable than expected", so don't plan on tucking it into a corner of a small condo. Living room, bedroom reading nook or home office is where it belongs. Seat depth is about 76 cm, enough for a taller sitter to stretch out.

The cushions are shredded foam rather than one moulded block. That means they gradually take your shape instead of developing a crater in the middle and a ridge at the edges. The trade-off is time: after unboxing you need to work the fill back into the covers, spread it out and let it sit 48 to 72 hours to fully puff up.

The frame is round steel tube, rated to 250 lb (113 kg). Assembly takes under half an hour — every pole is numbered, so you group matching numbers and tighten. One person can do it; two is faster. The whole chair weighs 5.5 kg, so moving it around is easy.

One-year warranty, spot-clean only.

At this price you are paying for size and softness, not premium upholstery. If what you want is a deep, enveloping chair without spending $400, this is what the market looks like.
