Sony WH-CH720N Noise Cancelling Headphones — 35-Hour Battery at $118.99 CAD (52% Off)

Best Buy currently has the Sony WH-CH720N over-ear Bluetooth noise cancelling headphones in blue for $118.99 CAD (regular $249.99, 52% off). Orders over $35 ship free.

The WH-CH720N uses adaptive noise cancelling that adjusts suppression to your surroundings, so steady low-frequency noise on transit or in an open office gets pushed down while enough high frequency remains that you can still hear announcements. Sony calls it its lightest wireless noise-cancelling headband model, and at 410g the headband spreads pressure evenly enough to wear for a few hours without your ears feeling squeezed.

Sound is clear and balanced rather than bass-heavy, with decent separation for vocals and instruments across pop, podcasts and video. A built-in mic handles hands-free calls, and Bluetooth holds a reliable connection out to 10 metres so you can leave your phone on the desk.

Battery life is rated at up to 35 hours of wireless talk time — roughly one charge a week at two hours of commuting a day — and a full charge takes 3.5 hours. Voice control works with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri. A 1.5m audio cable is included for wired listening when the battery runs low.
