GE 4.9 Cu. Ft. Top Load Washer & 7.2 Cu. Ft. Electric Dryer — A Complete Laundry Pair in One Purchase! $1,399.98 CAD (44% Off)

Best Buy currently has the GE 4.9 cu. ft. top load washer and 7.2 cu. ft. electric dryer pair in white for $1,399.98 CAD (regular $2,499.98 — 44% off). Orders over $35 ship free.

Buying a washer and dryer separately usually means mismatched capacities, mismatched colours, and two machines that look like they were pieced together. This GE pair settles both jobs at once: a 4.9 cu. ft. top load washer for the washing and a 7.2 cu. ft. electric dryer for the drying, with the dryer drum noticeably larger than the wash basket so a full load can move straight across in one pass instead of two.

At 4.9 cu. ft., the wash basket is a practical size for a typical Canadian household — sheets, duvet covers, a family's weekly laundry, kids' sports gear usually fit in a single load. The 7.2 cu. ft. dryer leaves enough room for clothes to tumble apart rather than clump together in a wet ball. Both units are finished in white, so they read as one matched set instead of two odd appliances.

The top load design is genuinely convenient: no bending down to load or unload, and if you spot a missed shirt mid-cycle you just lift the lid and drop it in. The dryer is an electric model, and the pair can sit side by side or be arranged around whatever space your laundry room actually gives you.

The set lists at $2,499.98 and is now $1,399.98 — $1,100 off, which is roughly the price of a dryer on its own. If your laundry equipment is due for replacement, buying the pair costs far less than two separate purchases.
