Master Lock TSA Combination Luggage Lock 4696D — Set Your Own Code, Screeners Can Open It! $19.00 CAD (21% Off)

Amazon.ca has the Master Lock 4696D TSA-accepted combination padlock for $19.00 CAD right now (list price $23.99, 21% off). Prime members ship free; otherwise orders over $35 ship free.

A regular lock on checked baggage gets cut off the moment security wants a look inside. A TSA lock has a keyway the screeners can open and re-lock, so your bag gets inspected without destroying the lock. This one is a resettable four-dial combination — thousands of codes, and nothing to lose in another country.

The body is 1-5/16 in. wide (35 mm) with a 1/4 in. steel shackle, 1-7/8 in. long, so it threads through zipper pulls on suitcases more easily. Beyond luggage it fits camera and A/V cases, instrument cases, trade-show crates — anything with an integrated hasp.

Rated 4.4 stars across 759 reviews and ranked #41 in Luggage Locks. It stops opportunists and keeps screeners from cutting your bag open; it is not a high-security lock, so don't treat it like one.
