283 pieces that build three different dinosaurs: a Velociraptor, a Stegosaurus or a Pterosaur — one at a time, but taking it apart and rebuilding is the point. For a kid just getting into bricks, "I can build it again" beats "it's huge."
All three are poseable. The raptor moves its jaw, head, arms, legs and tail; the stegosaurus moves its neck, head, legs and tail; the pterosaur's wings, head and feet adjust. Posing them against each other is what kids actually do with them.

You also get a dinosaur skull, a rib cage, a set of eggs and a plant to build a small scene around. The raptor stands 14 cm tall, so the finished model doubles as shelf decor. Officially ages 8 and up, though a handy 6-year-old can manage with help.
4.7 stars from 650 ratings, over a thousand sold last month, ranked 121 in Toys & Games and 31 in Toy Building Sets. The most common note in reviews is that kids rebuild it instead of losing interest — which is the whole reason the 3-in-1 line keeps selling.

283 pieces for just over $18 is a good pieces-per-dollar ratio on its own, and you get three builds out of it. Solid birthday gift, or just something to keep a kid busy for two afternoons.
