Worth Buying: Apple AirPods Pro 3 — Double the Noise Cancelling, Plus Heart Rate Sensing, $299.99 CAD (9% Off)

Amazon.ca currently has the Apple AirPods Pro 3 for $299.99 CAD, down from $329 — a 9% saving. Prime members ship free; otherwise free shipping on orders over $35.

The headline change this generation is noise cancelling: Apple claims it removes up to twice as much unwanted noise as AirPods Pro 2. In practice the steady low rumble of a subway or bus gets flattened out, while station announcements still come through once you flip to transparency.

New this time is heart rate sensing. It tracks heart rate and calories across 50 workout types and feeds the Move ring and Workout app on iPhone, so you don't need a watch for a run. Ear tips now come in five sizes instead of three, which holds the seal better over long stretches and firms up the bass.

Hearing health is the feature people skip over: active hearing protection cuts down excessive environmental noise, which is safer than bare ears over a long day. Battery is up to 8 hours with ANC on, and the case carries you through the day. It charges over USB-C — same cable as your MacBook or iPad.

Live Translation runs on Apple Intelligence, so check that your phone and language setup support it before buying.

Price-wise it's only $29 off, which is what a new release looks like before Black Friday. The reviews are strong — 1,208 ratings at 4.5 stars — and if you've been waiting for a dip, this is likely as close as it gets this side of November.
