The Jester is one of The North Face's long-running everyday packs, and the brief is simple: commuting, classes, short trips — it carries a laptop, and it doesn't wreck your shoulders after a full day. It isn't a technical alpine pack, but the brand has been building gear since 1966 and is consistent about abrasion-resistant fabrics, zippers, and strap construction, with many models now using recycled materials.

$99.99 down to $58.49 is 42% off, which isn't an everyday occurrence on North Face's own daypacks. There are several colors and specs on the page — check within the listing which one carries this price.

4.6 stars, over 800 reviews, ranked 78th in Casual Daypacks and 134th in Laptop Backpacks. If you want a plain, durable daily pack you can carry for years, this is a fair moment to buy.
