Minecraft players will get a kick out of this one — 491 pieces that bring the game's battle ring into the real world. The character lineup is stacked: Steve, Garrett and Henry, plus a baby zombie, a chicken jockey (a zombie riding a chicken) and a posable great hog.

The ring actually works: score-keepers stand at the front, and kids can pose the figures with accessories and potions to recreate in-game battles. Alongside it is a woodland mansion facade with a removable chest and an accessories rack. Built, it stands over 6.5 inches (17 cm) tall.

Made for ages 10 and up — a good fit for Minecraft and movie fans. The LEGO Builder app adds 3D rotate-and-zoom viewing while building.

This set isn't that old yet, and $64.99 list dropping to $41.72 is a strong price for it. 1,414 ratings at 4.7 stars is a solid track record. If you're lining up a birthday gift, this is a good moment to grab it.
