499 pieces, ages 8 and up, and it's the purple triple-decker from The Prisoner of Azkaban. The upper levels lift off as one piece, and inside are the two features that make this more than a static model: the beds slide and the chandelier swings. Push it across the table and the interior moves with it.

Five minifigures come in the box — Harry, driver Ernie Prang, conductor Stan Shunpike, a sleeping witch, and Padfoot in dog form. The accessories aren't trimmed either: the lamppost and bench where Harry flags the bus down, his trunk with a Galleon and the Hogwarts letter inside, and a Daily Prophet with the "Escape from Azkaban" headline.

Built, it measures about 15 cm tall and 17 cm long, so it fits on a shelf without eating the whole thing. It's ranked #43 in Toy Building Sets, moved over 2,000 units in the past month, and holds 4.8 stars across 1,300+ reviews. Several Harry Potter sets have been retired lately — low $40s is a reasonable level to pick this one up rather than waiting.
