Utopia Bedding Waterproof Pillow Protectors (2 Pack, Queen) — Fully Zippered, Bed Bug & Dust Mite Proof! $27.71 CAD (34% Off)

Amazon.ca has the Utopia Bedding waterproof pillow protector two-pack in Queen (20 × 28 in) for $27.71 CAD (list $41.95, 34% off). Prime members ship free; otherwise orders over $35 CAD ship free.

It's a polyester knitted jersey with TPU coating on all four sides, so the whole protector is waterproof rather than just surface-resistant. The zipper runs the full length and seals shut, which is what actually keeps bed bugs and dust mites out — the fabric alone wouldn't. If a kid spits up, or someone in the house sweats heavily or drools in their sleep, you wash the cover instead of replacing the pillow.

Machine wash and tumble dry, no hand washing. The Queen size fits a standard pillow snugly and the pillow still holds its shape underneath rather than going flat.

One trade-off to expect: waterproofing costs you feel. Some people find it plasticky and notice a rustle when they roll over, especially with an ear against it. Others describe the fabric as more satin than silky, thicker than expected, and actually cooler and wrinkle-free. If noise bothers you, no waterproof protector avoids this entirely — just know it going in.

Ranked #167 in Bed Pillow Protectors with 4.6 stars. Two covers for just over $27 works out to under $14 each, which is a lot cheaper than replacing pillows.
