The point of this camera is that you stop thinking about framing. Hit record and it captures 5.6K30 spherical video of everything around you; in the Quik app you pick the angle afterwards. One bike run gives you both the POV shot and the third-person shot — normally that's two cameras.

The vanishing pole is the feature people get hooked on. Thread it onto a grip or extension pole via the 1/4-20 mount and the pole gets stitched out automatically, so the footage looks like someone was following you, or like a drone shot. 3K60 gives you 2x slow motion, so the kids jumping into the pool and everyone's faces at the splash all live in the same clip. 360 photos at 16.6MP work the same way — shoot first, choose the angle later.
