Best Buy currently carries the Sony BRAVIA 7 II 75" 4K TV (K75XR70M2, 2026 model) for $2,499.99 CAD, down from $4,399.99 — a 43% saving. Orders over $35 ship free.
The interesting part here is not the size but the backlight. Most LCD TVs use blue LEDs with quantum dots to derive red and green; the BRAVIA 7 II uses separate red, green, and blue LEDs, so the colour comes straight from the light source instead of being converted. Sony calls it True RGB LED, and RGB sensing checks each LED's output in real time to adjust brightness. The practical difference shows up in sports and nature footage: grass does not drift yellow, and jersey reds do not bleed.

The panel is 75 inches at 4K Ultra HD native resolution, 120Hz with XR Motion Clarity processing, which keeps matches, games, and action films free of obvious smearing. Dolby Vision adds finer control over highlights and contrast, and four HDMI 2.1 inputs are enough for a PS5, a Switch 2, a set-top box, and a soundbar without an external switcher. PS Remote Play streams PlayStation games directly to this set.

On audio, Acoustic Multi-Audio uses position-mounted tweeters to align the sound field with on-screen action — a voice from the top of the frame comes from above — while 3D surround upscaling gives ordinary stereo some sense of envelopment and Dolby Atmos provides genuine spatial audio. Google TV runs the show with Gemini built in, so you can ask for something in plain language. AirPlay 2 and Google Cast both work, so casting does not depend on which phone you carry, and Bluetooth headphone control is a quick jump away for late-night viewing.

The cabinet is black with slim bezels, and the set is ENERGY STAR certified with an energy saving mode. At $2,499.99 this is a clear low point for the model — comparable OLEDs at this size still cost well over double. The trade-off is worth stating plainly: RGB LED is still LCD, so viewing angles and absolute black levels do not match OLED. If you mostly watch films in a dark room and want perfect blacks, OLED remains the better answer. For a bright living room with daytime sports and shared viewing, this is the more sensible pick. The discount ends November 13.
