Amazon.ca has the Apple Magic Mouse (white Multi-Touch surface) at $94.98 CAD. Prime members ship free; otherwise free over $35.

There's no scroll wheel — the whole top surface is a touch surface. One finger slides to scroll, two fingers swipe sideways to move between pages or desktops, two-finger double tap opens Mission Control. If you already live on a MacBook trackpad, there's almost nothing to relearn, and that's really what you're paying for: not a better mouse, but the same gestures in a mouse shape.

The optimized foot design glides well on both wood and cloth pads. It pairs out of the box, and the included woven USB-C cable handles both pairing and charging from a Mac's USB-C port. Apple rates the battery at about a month or more per charge; with eight-hour days, charging every two to three weeks is realistic.

4.4 stars over 3,700+ ratings, and the complaints are consistent: it's very flat with no palm support, so after a few hours of drawing or editing your wrist starts to ache. The charging port is on the bottom, which means flipping it over and leaving it unusable while it charges. The one-star reviews about right-click requiring a fully lifted index finger and scrolling lacking inertia are accurate. It isn't a mouse for everyone.

If you spend most of your day in macOS doing spreadsheets, browsing and writing, nothing else integrates this cleanly. For long sessions, gaming or precision design, look at an ergonomic model instead. At $94.98 this isn't a bargain — it's the normal price for the right tool, and it rarely goes on sale.
