Sony Deep Bass In-Ear Headphones with Mic — Loud Enough Straight From Your Phone! $28.45 CAD (39% Off)

Amazon.ca has the Sony Deep Bass in-ear headphones in Metallic Red, with in-line remote and mic, at $28.45 CAD (list $46.99, 39% off). Prime members ship free; non-Prime orders over $35 ship free.

9 mm neodymium drivers, 16 ohm impedance, 20Hz–20kHz. What those numbers mean in practice: a phone drives them loud enough on its own, no dongle DAC required. Bass is the headline — kick drums, bass lines and electronic music carry noticeably more weight than the flat-sounding sets at this price, without smearing vocals.

The cable is flat and tangle-resistant, so pulling them out of a pocket is not a five-minute untangling exercise. The in-line remote handles volume, track skipping and calls, with the mic built into the cable. Standard 3.5 mm jack, so phones, tablets and laptops all work — worth checking that your phone still has a headphone jack, since plenty of newer ones don't.

Fit comes from the included silicone tips. Passive isolation is average, so on a subway you will turn it up; that is true of most in-ears at this price. At 3 g they stay comfortable over long stretches.

This is the long-running MDREX110AP, sitting at 4.3 stars over 2,782 reviews. 39% off brings it to $28.45, which is the low end of what it usually sells for. As a backup pair you can lose without grief — commuting, calls, meetings — it is hard to beat at this price.
