HUANUO Single Monitor Wall Mount 17-32 Inch — Get the Screen Off Your Desk, 43% Off at $39.99 CAD

Amazon.ca has the HUANUO single monitor wall mount (fits 17 to 32 inch screens, 17.6 lbs per arm) for $39.99 CAD, down from $69.99 — 43% off. Prime members ship free; otherwise free shipping on orders over $35.

The annoying part of a desk stand is the base: a slab of steel roughly a foot across, sitting exactly where you want your keyboard. This one bolts to the wall, so the only thing on your desk is the arm coming down. The screen extends up to 18.3 inches from the wall, height adjusts through about 11 inches, tilt runs plus or minus 35 degrees, swivel 90 degrees each way, and the whole thing rotates 360 degrees for portrait mode when you are reading long documents or code.

The arm is aviation-grade aluminium with a gas-spring counterbalance. Set the tension to your monitor's weight once and it holds wherever you push it instead of sagging. The box includes a VESA extension kit for both 75x75 and 100x100 patterns, which covers most 24 to 32 inch screens — measure your hole spacing and weight first, the stated limit is 17.6 lbs.

Worth being upfront: this is a wall mount, so you are drilling holes. If you rent, plan for how you will patch them at move-out. Installation is quoted at ten minutes or less, hardware and instructions included. It carries a 5-year warranty, sits at 4.5 stars across 2,200+ ratings, and ranks near the top of Amazon's monitor arm category.

At $39.99 it is roughly 40% off the usual $69.99. If your desk is too crowded for a second screen and a bigger desk is not happening, this is the cheap way out.
