Hilroy Recycled File Folders, 100-Pack — Under 26 Cents Each! $25.98 CAD (32% Off)

Amazon.ca has the Hilroy recycled file folders in letter size (10.5 point, half cut, reversible, ivory, 100 per box) for $25.98 CAD (list $37.99, 32% off). Prime members ship free; otherwise free over $35.

That works out to under 26 cents a folder. Hilroy is about as standard as Canadian office supplies get, and this 55269 is made from 100% recycled paper at 10.5 point — roughly 0.27 mm — which is stiff enough that a full folder doesn't go floppy.

The half-cut tabs are reversible, so the same folder works from either side: flip the tab position and you have a second filing scheme out of one box. Tabs come printed with a space for a name and number. At 9 x 11-3/4 inches, standard letter paper sits inside with no overhang.

Rated 4.5 stars over 105 reviews — people call them sturdy and clean-looking, a few find them pricey (which says something about this price), and one buyer got a crushed outer box with all 100 folders intact.

Good fit for a small office restock, home filing of tax slips and insurance papers, or school paperwork. At 20 folders a year, the box lasts five years.
