Segway Ninebot E2 Pro E-Scooter — 35 km Range, Puncture-Proof Tyres! $399.99 CAD (40% Off)

Amazon.ca has the Segway Ninebot E2 Pro e-scooter for $399.99 CAD (list $669.21, 40% off). Prime members ship free; otherwise orders over $35 ship free.

The E2 Pro is the practical end of Ninebot's entry line: 350W motor, 25 km/h top speed, 35 km claimed range. If your commute is 5-8 km each way, that's a charge every two or three days, and a full charge takes about 5.5 hours — plug it in overnight.

The 10-inch tubeless tyres are the real selling point here. Ninebot calls them air-leakage-proof: no topping up pressure every other week, and a puncture doesn't immediately leave you stranded. There's a front suspension, a front drum brake paired with a rear electronic brake, and anti-skid traction control, which helps on wet manhole covers and leaves. The scooter weighs 18.8 kg, carries up to 120 kg, folds, and has an LED dashboard plus front and rear lights. The battery is UL 2272 and UL 2271 certified — the baseline you want if it's charging inside your home.

Straight talk on the ratings: 275 reviews at 4.0 stars is not a high score. The usual complaints in this category are tyre noise, a harsh ride on rough pavement, and real-world range falling short of the claim — at a constant 25 km/h you will not see 35 km, so plan on 20-30 km, less in cold weather.

One thing to check yourself: e-scooter rules differ by province in Canada — whether they're street legal at all, where you can ride, speed and age limits. Look up your local rules before ordering.

$669.21 down to $399.99 saves you $269, and it currently ranks #23 in Electric Scooters. For an entry-level commuter, the spec sheet is unusually complete.
