Canon IVY 2 Mini Photo Printer Bundle (Blush Pink) — Peel-and-Stick Prints, No Ink Needed! $127.93 CAD (20% Off)

Amazon.ca has the Canon IVY 2 Mini Photo Printer bundle in Blush Pink for $127.93 CAD (list $159.99, 20% off). Prime members ship free; otherwise free shipping over $35. It's currently the #1 seller in Amazon.ca's portable photo printer category.

What it does is narrow and clear: pair your phone over Bluetooth, pick a shot in the Canon Mini Print app, and about a minute later you're holding a 2x3-inch print with adhesive backing. Peel it and stick it on the fridge, a notebook, a journal page, a laptop lid. No tape, no frame, no trip to a print shop.

It uses ZINK (Zero Ink) paper — the colour comes from dye crystals embedded in the paper, activated by heat. So there are no cartridges to dry out or clog, which is the usual death of a home printer you use twice a year. At 249 g it disappears into a jacket pocket. The IVY 2 also tuned skin tones, contrast and sharpness over the previous generation, so faces don't smear into a blob.

The bundle is better value than the bare printer: the unit itself, 10 sheets of ZINK sticky-back paper, a protective case, an LED light bar, and a USB cable. The light bar matters more than it sounds — selfies in a dim room come out as something other than a dark rectangle.

Two things worth being straight about:

Paper cost. ZINK sheets aren't cheap — roughly a dollar-plus per print. If you plan to run off fifteen at a time, do that math first. This is not a replacement for a real printer. Image quality. It won't match a photo lab. Colours run punchy, fine detail is limited. At sticker size it looks great; blown up it doesn't.

Which is why people buy it to turn photos into something they can stick on a wall, not to print photos as such. Journal keepers, dorm room decorators, parents doing crafts with kids — for that it's genuinely good, and the bulk of its 4,400+ reviews are about exactly that. Battery lasts a weekend of casual printing, and it travels fine.
