GE 7.2 Cu. Ft. Electric Dryer — Moisture Sensing and 7 Cycles at Nearly Half Off! $699.99 CAD (48% Off)

Best Buy is currently selling the GE 7.2 cu. ft. electric dryer (GTD49EBMRDG, Diamond Grey) for $699.99 CAD, down from a regular $1,349.99 — a 48% saving. Orders over $35 ship free.

It's a vented electric dryer, and 7.2 cu. ft. of drum space is a comfortable fit for a household of three: a week of laundry plus bedding goes in without a fight. The cabinet measures 68.81 x 110.01 x 75.01 cm (W x H x D), stands freestanding, and cannot be stacked, so measure your laundry room doorway before ordering.

The most useful part is the moisture sensing. Sensor Dry reads humidity inside the drum and stops the cycle once clothes reach the selected dryness, so you're not guessing at timer settings and running a second pass. Seven cycles cover Cottons, Casuals, Quick Fluff, Auto Dry and Time Dry, and four temperature settings let you match heat to fabric instead of mixing synthetics with cotton towels. After the cycle, extended tumble without heat helps relax wrinkles and creases.

A Sanitize option is rated to remove 99.9% of bacteria, which is handy with kids in the house or when freshening pet bedding. The aluminized steel drum has an interior light so evening loads are easier to see, and the lint filter pulls out for cleaning. The glass-panel door has a reversible hinge, so it opens the convenient way whether your washer sits on the left or the right. EnerGuide rating is listed at 650 kWh per year; there's no steam, no Wi-Fi, and it isn't ENERGY STAR certified — worth weighing against your priorities.

On major appliances, Best Buy's delivery specialists call within 24 hours of purchase to confirm required accessories, walk you through delivery day, and add installation or recycling services. During the November-to-January holiday window, callbacks can take up to three days.
