Ring Battery Doorbell 2K (Newest Model) — 2K Wide-Angle with 6x Zoom, No Wiring! $79.99 CAD (43% Off)

Amazon.ca has the Ring Battery Doorbell 2K (newest model, Matte Mocha) for $79.99 CAD, down from $139.99 — 43% off. Prime members ship free; otherwise orders over $35 CAD ship free.

This generation moves to Retinal 2K video with a wide-angle view of the whole porch, plus up to 6x Enhanced Zoom for pulling detail out of the distance. Live View and Two-Way Talk let you see, hear and answer from your phone wherever you are. The battery is built in and charges over USB-C — use the included removal tool to pop the doorbell off the wall, charge it, click it back. No wiring, no electrician, which makes it rental-friendly. Alexa integration works too: Echo Show can pull up the feed, Echo Dot can announce visitors.

It's moving over a thousand units a month, and at this price it's not hard to see why.

Two things to know first. Recording, video history and the AI-powered alerts need a Ring Protect subscription, sold separately — without it you get live view and motion notifications only. And a minority of buyers report late or missed motion alerts, or activation-code errors during setup; in the cases where the unit itself was faulty, Ring support replaced it free and the replacement worked properly. Follow through with support rather than living with it.

At $139.99 regular, $79.99 is one of the better prices we've seen on this model. 4.0 stars from 444 ratings — the marks come off for the subscription and the occasional dud, not the picture quality.
