Bose QuietComfort Wireless Headphones — Half Price on the ANC Classic! $249 CAD (48% Off)

Amazon.ca has the Bose QuietComfort Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones in Sandstone for $249 CAD (list $479, 48% off). Prime members ship free; otherwise free shipping over $35.

Let's be precise about which pair this is: the standard QuietComfort, not the Ultra. That means no spatial audio and no head tracking, and the ANC isn't quite as absolute as the Ultra's. What it does do is turn jet engines and subway rumble into a thin, even floor of noise, without the plugged-ears feeling. Quiet and Aware modes toggle with one button, so you can talk to someone without taking them off.

They weigh 240 g, with plush over-ear cushions and a padded band — three or four hours without pressure on your head. Battery is 24 hours a charge, and 15 minutes on USB-C gets you 2.5 more, which is the difference between a silent flight and no headphones at all if you forgot to plug in the night before. Bluetooth 5.1 with multipoint, so your phone and laptop switch without re-pairing. Dead battery or an in-flight entertainment system? Plug in the included 3.5 mm cable and they work wired. Carrying case and USB-C cable are in the box.

20,000+ reviews at 4.4 stars is a track record, not a launch-week number. The honest downsides: plastic build, not water resistant (don't wear them to sweat), and the case is bulky enough that a small backpack will complain.

At $479 these were overpriced. At $249 they're priced the way they should have been. There's also a clippable coupon on the page — remember to tick it at checkout.
