ACEMAGIC K5 Mini PC — Triple 4K Outputs and 2.5GbE in a Book-Sized Box! $479.99 CAD (26% Off)

Amazon.ca has the ACEMAGIC K5 mini PC (Intel Core 3 304, 12GB RAM, 512GB SSD) for $479.99 CAD (list $649.99, 26% off). Prime members ship free; otherwise free shipping on orders over $35.

The chassis measures 5.05 x 5.05 x 1.61 inches — smaller than a hardcover — and the included bracket mounts it behind a monitor, so it disappears from your desk. The Core 3 304 is Intel's entry-level low-power part this generation: office work, a dozen browser tabs and video calls are fine. There's an NPU plus integrated graphics rated at up to 24 TOPS for supported on-device AI features like background blur and voice processing.

Storage is 12GB of LPDDR5 5600 plus a 512GB M.2 2280 NVMe drive you can swap up to 4TB. Be clear on one thing: the RAM is soldered, so decide up front whether 12GB is enough. Light office, home use and streaming — yes. VMs or 4K editing — it will feel tight.

Connectivity is where this box earns its money: HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.4 and a full-function USB-C can drive three 4K@60Hz displays at once, and that USB-C also does 20Gbps data, DP 1.4 video and 100W power delivery. Add 2.5GbE LAN, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, USB 3.2 and a headphone jack, and you can skip the dock entirely.

Cooling is a fan with intelligent speed control — a laptop-class solution in a tiny case, and it stays quiet over long sessions. One-year warranty.

Straight talk: only 61 reviews at 4.4 stars, so the sample is thin next to models with tens of thousands. One owner notes you need an 8K-certified HDMI cable to actually hold 4K@60, and several bought it for a parent doing web browsing and light games — reports are that the ports are plentiful and it does the job. If your budget is around $500 and you want small, multi-display and dual networking, this fits; if you want to game, look at a discrete-GPU machine.
