These are the flecks you broadcast over a coated concrete floor while the coating is still wet. They bond permanently into the finish rather than sitting on top, and one bag covers roughly 125–250 square feet. They're made to work with one-part or two-part concrete coatings — Rust-Oleum, EpoxyShield and RockSolid all list them as compatible. Two jobs at once: they hide the small cracks and uneven spots you can't sand out of old concrete, and because the blend is multi-toned, dropped screws and dirt don't stand out the way they do on a solid grey floor.

Glacier Gray is a grey/white/black mix that sits well with most garage palettes. The blends can be mixed together if you want a busier look. Don't skimp when you throw them — one reviewer's advice is that more coverage looks dramatically better, and a thin application reads as patchy with the base colour showing through. The trade-off they mention: small parts dropped on the floor are harder to spot afterwards.

4.6 stars over 2,400+ ratings, ranked #271 in Raw Building Materials. If a garage or basement floor is on your list this fall, this is the cheap last step that makes the whole job look finished.
