Sony BRAVIA 7 II 65" XR70M2 4K TV — True RGB LED Backlight With Dolby Vision! $1999.99 CAD (46% Off)

Best Buy currently carries the Sony BRAVIA 7 II 65" XR70M2 4K UHD TV (K65XR70M2) at $1999.99 CAD (regular $3699.99, 46% off). Orders over $35 ship free.

The backlight is the headline here: instead of white LEDs behind a colour filter, red, green and blue LEDs emit directly (True RGB), which gives colour noticeably more saturation and purity along with wider viewing angles. RGB sensing monitors LED output in real time and adjusts brightness so colour stays accurate over long viewing sessions. At 65 inches it slots neatly into a main living room.

Dolby Vision support gives finer control over highlights and shadows — the bright parts actually get bright and the dark parts stay dark. XR Motion Clarity on a 120Hz panel keeps fast motion in sports and action films clean, and it's quick enough for console gaming.

It runs Google TV, so apps and streaming services live in one interface, with Gemini built in for finding something to watch in plain language. Apple AirPlay 2 and Google Cast are both supported for straightforward casting. PS Remote Play streams PlayStation games straight to the TV, which is handy if the console lives in another room.

Connectivity is generous: four HDMI inputs (HDMI 2.1), enough for a PS5, a Switch 2, a soundbar and a set-top box without swapping cables. Bluetooth headphone control lets you listen privately at night. On audio, Dolby Atmos and Acoustic Multi-Audio use sound-positioning tweeters so audio tracks the action on screen, and 3D surround upscaling adds envelopment to ordinary sources. There's also an ATSC 3.0 (NextGen TV) tuner. ENERGY STAR certified with an energy saving mode. Rated 4.6 out of 5 across 196 reviews.
