The pitch here is speed. A 320Hz refresh rate paired with 0.5ms grey-to-grey response (the minimum in Extreme mode; roughly 1ms typically observed) keeps fast-moving objects crisp. For FPS players, that's the difference in blur and input lag — and it's impressive for an IPS panel.
