Logitech G305 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Mouse — 250 Hours on One AA Battery! $49.99 CAD (29% Off)

Amazon.ca has the Logitech G305 LIGHTSPEED wireless gaming mouse (black) for $49.99 CAD, down from a $69.99 list price — 29% off. Prime members ship free; otherwise orders over $35 ship free.

The pitch here is simple: Logitech's flagship wireless tech at an entry-level price. The HERO sensor runs 200–12,000 DPI with 400 IPS tracking, and LIGHTSPEED delivers a 1 ms report rate — the latency difference versus a wired mouse is not something most people can feel. It sits at 4.4 stars across nearly 40,000 reviews and ranks #17 in Computer Mice.

At 99 g with an ambidextrous shell, six buttons are programmable through G HUB and DPI steps are yours to set. The part that actually matters day to day is power: one AA battery is rated for 250 hours of continuous play, or up to nine months in Endurance mode. No cable, no charging routine — you just swap a battery. There's built-in storage for the nano receiver in the base, so it travels in a bag without getting lost.

Two things long-term owners bring up: tracking feels locked in for FPS at around 4000 DPI, and there's no battery indicator, so keep a spare AA in a drawer. It also has no ergonomic curve — if you have large hands and want a palm rest, this isn't the shape for you.

Street price usually sits between $59 and $69, so $49.99 is in its regular low range. A reasonable moment if you're moving off a wired mouse without paying flagship money.
