OxiClean Versatile Stain Remover Powder, 3.27kg — Soak Overnight, Rescue the Yellowed Stuff! $21.47 CAD (20% Off)

Amazon.ca has the OxiClean Versatile stain remover powder in the 3.27kg tub for $21.47 CAD (list $26.99, 20% off). Prime members ship free; otherwise free shipping over $35.

The chemistry is sodium percarbonate: it releases active oxygen in water, and the bubbling lifts stains out of the fibre — which is why it works on yellowing that has already been through the wash several times. Sweat-stained collars, greyed white socks, kitchen towels, sheets. It's chlorine-free and colour-safe, so whites with prints survive it, unlike bleach.

Two ways to use it: add a scoop alongside your detergent as a booster, or dissolve it in warm water and soak overnight for the stubborn stuff. The 3.27kg tub lasts a while at a scoop a load, it's #11 in Powder Laundry Detergent, and 6,400+ ratings average 4.7.

The classic review story is "I was about to throw this out and now I don't have to" — often followed by surprise at how discoloured the soak water gets, which tells you how much was still in the fabric. Owners also warn that it takes a generous dose to shift set-in stains, so don't expect one scoop to fix everything. One practical note: it's a powder and Amazon sometimes ships it in a paper bag, so check the packaging on arrival.

$21.47 for 3.27kg is far better value than the small supermarket boxes. If you have kids, pets, or a wardrobe that skews light-coloured, this tub earns its shelf space.
