HelloBaby 3.2" Baby Monitor — No WiFi Needed, Works Without Internet! $59.06 CAD (29% Off)

Amazon.ca has the HelloBaby HB2438 3.2-inch no-WiFi baby monitor for $59.06 CAD, down from $83.02 — 29% off. Free shipping with Prime, or on orders over $35 otherwise.

The appeal here is what it doesn't do: no WiFi, no app, no cloud. It uses 2.4GHz FHSS point-to-point transmission, so it keeps working when the internet or power flickers, and there's no cloud camera to worry about being accessed remotely. Plug the camera in, turn the screen on, and it's paired — nothing to reconfigure when you travel.

The 3.2-inch IPS screen does 2x digital zoom and automatic infrared night vision, so you can see a baby roll over or kick off a blanket in a fully dark room. Two-way talk lets you soothe from the parent unit, there are 8 built-in lullabies, and room temperature shows in the status bar. Feeding reminders can be set from 0.5 to 5 hours and the screen chimes when it's time. The 1250mAh battery is a real step up from the older 950mAh unit — about 14 hours in ECO/VOX mode with the screen off, and it wakes and alerts the moment your baby cries. Range is up to 1000ft outdoors, and one monitor supports up to 4 cameras.

4.2 stars across 337 ratings. One parent who bought it as a backup for travel now uses it almost exclusively — plug in, done, and it runs off any outlet or USB power bank on the road. Support was quick to help when they wanted a second camera.

Two things to know before you buy: the camera itself must stay plugged in (only the parent unit is battery-powered), and the box includes USB cables but no power adapter, so you'll use your phone charger. The camera pans and tilts manually, not remotely.

At $59.06 you're saving about $24 off list, which is low for a non-WiFi video monitor.
