🎉 史新低！BOSGAME E5 Plus Mini PC (Ryzen 3 5400U, 8GB/256GB) — Triple 4K & Dual 2.5GbE! $279 CAD (28% Off)

Amazon.ca has the BOSGAME E5 Plus mini PC (AMD Ryzen 3 5400U, 8GB DDR4, 256GB SSD) for $279 CAD — list is $389, so 28% off. Prime members ship free; otherwise free shipping over $35.

Under three hundred dollars for a complete machine that can drive three 4K displays at once, in a 0.9kg box you can hide behind the monitor. The audience is pretty specific: a household that needs an always-on machine for browsing, office work and streaming, or someone who wants a download box, a NAS front end or a software router.

The Ryzen 3 5400U is 4 cores / 8 threads boosting to 4.0GHz — fine for Office, dozens of browser tabs and 4K playback, and clearly ahead of the Celeron/Pentium boxes at this price while sipping power. What it won't do: heavy 4K editing or AAA gaming. That was never the job.

Expansion is where the value sits. It ships with 8GB DDR4 across two SODIMM slots that take up to 64GB, plus a 256GB SATA SSD already installed and a free M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 slot for fast storage later. Nothing is soldered, so in two years you add a stick instead of replacing the machine.

Ports are generous for the money: HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort and a full-function USB-C, all three at 4K@60Hz — handy for a trading dashboard, a TV box, or work on one screen and a call on another. That USB-C also does PD 3.0 power delivery, which cuts a cable or two from the desk. Networking is dual 2.5GbE, more than twice gigabit, which matters for NAS transfers, a software router or separate network segments; you rarely see dual 2.5G at this price. Wireless is WiFi 5 plus Bluetooth 5.0 — adequate, not current.

No OS is preinstalled; the listing says Windows / Ubuntu / Linux supported. 938 reviews at 4.1 stars, with the deductions mostly about fan noise on individual units and after-sales response speed rather than performance.

If what you need is a small, always-on machine that doesn't take up space and can feed two or three screens, $279 is $110 below its usual price.
