It is quick, too: it can fully charge four Joy-Con controllers in 2.5 hours, so a dead controller never cuts your game short. Clear charging LEDs on the dock show the status in real time — red while charging, green when full. Just remember the "+" slot is for the right Joy-Con and the "-" slot is for the left.
