The 10mm thickness is the point here: enough cushion under knees and elbows for kneeling poses, planks, and seated meditation, but still firm enough that you're not sinking and wobbling. It's made from 75% EVA and 25% TPE with 50% recycled content, PVC-free, and it doesn't carry that strong new-mat smell — fine to leave out in the living room.
